Apple Peanut Butter and Granola Snacks

Apple Peanut Butter and Granola SnacksSpring break is just around the corner and kids will need something to do, right? These Apple Peanut Butter Granola Snacks are a fun and entertaining project for kids. A big plus also is that they’re healthy too. If you’re not a fan of peanut butter or allergic, you may substitute peanut butter with almond butter or Nutella and still get fantastic treats. Also, you may top the snacks with any toppings such as: dried cranberries, any kind of nuts, raisins, shaved or drizzled chocolate, melted marshmallow and the list goes on. From my own experience, kids love to spend time in the kitchen cooking or baking, even the boys, which is so great! We shouldn’t waste this opportunity to connect with them. Have fun with your kiddos by spending time in the kitchen, the heart of the house, where the most bonding takes place. And it also keeps them away from electronics, which steals your bonding and steals your kids. Enjoy your good times, enjoy your good desserts!

Ingredients you will need:

4 large – Fuji apples

½ can – peanut butter

2 cup – Honey Almond Granola

White or Milk chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Wash and pat dry apples. Slice apple into 3/8 thick slices and remove the core.

2. Spread peanut butter on top of each apple slice.

Apple Peanut Butter and Granola Snacks can be refrigerated for up to 8 hours. It’s a perfect snack for hobby’s or kid’s lunch box, after school or any time of the day snack. Enjoy!
