BeveragesMany beverages contain either tyramine, histamine or both. To control your symptoms, avoid flavored milk, all teas, regular coffee, soft drinks, beer, wine and cider. Avoid fruit juices made from oranges, pineapples, peach, nectarines and cranberries. To keep your symptoms under control, choose water, sprinkling water or club soda with a bit of lemon or lime juice instead. Fruit juices from apples, plain milk as well as decaffeinated coffee are also safe for a low-histamine and low-tyramine diet.
