Can I use Ebates if I am shopping in-store instead of online?

Yes! Select stores allow you to earn cash back even if you shop in-store. To earn cash back by shopping in-store, click on the “In-Store Cash Back” tab on the menu bar. It will show a list of participating stores. Click “Link Offer” next to the store where you will be doing your shopping. You will enter the credit card information of the card that you plan on using in the store and click “Link to Card.” You’re all set!

For example, I recently needed to buy a wedding gift at Bed Bath & Beyond. I wanted to purchase the gift in-store because I needed it for the wedding the next day. Plus, you can wrap gifts there for free! So, to earn cash back with Ebates, I clicked “Link Offer” next to the Bed Bath & Beyond logo, put in my credit card info, and clicked “Link to Card.” Then, when I went to pay at Bed Bath & Beyond, I used my credit card that I had linked earlier in my Ebates account, and boom! I earned 2.0% cash back. It showed up in my Ebates account a few days later.

Ebates makes it convenient to link participating stores. Now that my credit card info is stored, I just go down the list and link any stores I may shop at in the future and link my card. So, right now, my credit card is linked to Old Navy, Gap, Dick’s Sporting Goods, World Market, Bed Bath & Beyond, and buybuy Baby. As long as I use my credit card that I have linked, I will earn cash back in my Ebates account even when I shop in-store.

Can I use discount codes, coupons or promo codes if I shop through Ebates?

Yes! Once you click “Shop Now,” you will be directed to the store’s website where you complete your shopping as you normally would. You can enter your applicable coupons or promo codes at check out, and you will receive your discount from the coupons or promo codes. After you complete your purchase, you will also get cash back in your Ebates account. If you use a credit card that has cash back rewards, you will earn cash back through your credit card, too!

Ebates is also a great way to check out current coupons and promo codes. Just click on the name of your store of choice in the list of stores, and it will give you all the current coupons, promo codes, and cash back terms.

How much cash back will I earn?

It depends on the store. All stores have different cash back percentage rates. All of the rates are listed, and sometimes stores will offer double cash back, which is awesome!
