Here is how I currently make money from PPV

Research trends and find out what offers are doing great at the moment. Similarweb always helps me do this. Choose 2-3 offers you would like to make money from. You can ask your affiliate manager about this as well. Ask him or her which ones are hot at the moment. Spy more to see how people are promoting those offers. Similarweb and BoxOfAds are good spy tools, especially for PPV campaigns. Clone their campaigns and tweak them to yours. You may adapt others’ landing pages and split test with yours to see which one performs better. Split testing is very important even though you can clone others’ campaigns and make money. Tweaking can help you get better results and stand out from your competitors. Create campaigns on TrafficVance. I will start with a few traffic sources and expand it to other networks when I see that it works. Add 10-20 interested targets (I usually use medium to high traffic volume targets). Don’t waste your money on very well-known websites. They rarely work because visitors who access those sites know what they are looking for and are also rarely interested in popups. Sit back and let those campaigns run. Analyze the data you get. Cut losses and scale up winners using keyword variations. If you have a landing page, check the click-through rate first. If it’s very low, then check whether it’s because of the landing page itself or the target. Sometimes, the CTR is bad because you got too much traffic from bad targets. Remove the losers and let the campaigns run again. Clone your winning campaigns to other traffic sources.

Actually, this is the same method I have been using with PPV for a long time – I just change the order of traffic sources when I test my campaigns. Offers and traffic sources may come and go, but the system is still the same. If you know the fundamentals, you can make money from any means. It’s like fishing. If people give you a fish, you can eat it once. But if you know how to catch a fish, you can catch and eat one any time.

Although I can’t bid on keyword variations in LeadImpact, it’s surprising to see that my overall profit is still increasing. It doesn’t matter how difficult it’s getting. There are so many other opportunities that the loss of two or three capabilities is not necessarily a disaster.

Moreover, there are new upcoming PPV traffic networks we should try. There are not only the major three traffic networks that work; there are also other sources we can make money from. I’m currently testing the traffic from RevenueHits and Rapsio but haven’t seen many results yet. I’ll test more and let you guys know soon.

To sum up, PPV still works but it’s getting a bit more difficult than before. If the LeadImpact approval process is annoying you, then try other traffic sources like TrafficVance and 50onRed. Remember that the real super affiliate will never fail simply because they have one or two problems. Keep going pals!
