My brother has a theory that as long as he always has a bag of rice in his cupboard he can survive for at least a month. And he’s not wrong – there’s a lot of ways to turn a bag of plain old rice into a complete meal! My choice is noodles, but you’ll probably have your own – rice is normally cheaper, though.
