Many fast food restaurants are in need of an extra person or two. When I was 16, I walked into a local McDonalds, filled out an application, did my interview on the spot, and started working the next week. When I was 20, I walked into a local Boston Market and asked if there were any openings. The manager asked me to fill out an application online and come in two days later for an interview. I was hired on the spot and started working a few days afterwards.
The point of my two stories is that the best way to get a job at a fast food restaurant quickly is to walk in and speak with the general manager. Even if there are not any openings, the manager will usually hire you in some capacity to work for a good amount of hours per week. Do not apply online without visiting the store. Do not ask for an application, fill it out, and then leave. You need to speak with the general manager and ask when you can start working.
