Imagine that you are talking to a customer and imagine that you will be doing that for a profession. Learn to use pleasing and polite words and tone of voice.

Type Away - As part of the online job, you will need to encode at the same time that you are talking. This is a vital part of the job and typing skills are very important. If you are not that fast in terms of typing speed, take on some free tutorials and typing tests to help you improve before taking on this job.

Smile on the Phone - I know it may be hard to imagine but the job of the CSR is to please the customer, and they need to do this with a smile on their faces. Although a smile can't be seen over the phone, try to incorporate it with your words, tone, and expressions. Once you get the hang of this, it will surely help you become a good CSR
