Making Extra Cash & Losing Weight!

Many of you may have heard me mentioning my online fitness family before. However, I haven’t gone into much detail. So, here goes. In October of 2014 I decided I wanted to lose weight. I tried Advocare. became addicted to Spark. Spark is like this awesome energy drink that is filled with vitamins and three million times better than coffee or soda. Because of Spark. I was able to give up my obsession with soda and switched to one Spark a day and water for the rest of the day. I know I probably could have done it without Spark. but I love it so much.

Anyway, this is not meant to be an add for Spark. this is a story. So, I tried to lose weight utilizing Advocare ‘s tools (24 Day Challenge ). While there were definitely some parts I liked, there were others that I wasn’t so fond of. The supplements made me feel groggy and gross most days. I think it was the mix of them and my blood pressure medications (which were super high-dosage at that point). Long-story-short, I stopped using Advocare products except Spark. which I still purchase regularly and use daily, and gained back all the weight I had lost with them by eating unhealthily and not exercising.

Then in January I decided to get serious about weight loss again. I went on MyFitnessPal. com – which I LOVE as it helps me to count calories and meet my goals. I started counting calories and visiting the forums. I was getting sort of discouraged when an awesome lady reached out to me and asked if I could use some help. I definitely could. At that point my weight was super high and my blood pressure was through the roof without my medication. You can read more of my story here (HERE )

So, she introduced me to the group TD Nation (information here ) and asked if I wanted to join her Facebook fitness family. I was skeptical, but joined. Thank goodness for that. Joining the Facebook fitness family has changed my life. Over the course of the past 11 months I have lost over 40 pounds (would have been more if not for summer camp), gained a ton of friends and motivation, learned about myself as a person, and began making extra cash on the side.

Soon after joining as a member, I became a coach for Beachbody (which is how I went about making extra cash during my time there). I know a lot of people who believe whole-heartedly that Beachbody is a scam. And I’m sad to say that there are a ton of coaches out there who are in it only for the money and don’t spend any time getting to know people and making a difference in other peoples’ lives. The thing with being a coach is this: you have to spend time helping people to earn money. The number one goal has to be to change peoples’ lives and it works as long as you focus on that. When your priorities are in order, making extra cash is easy.

And as for whether Beachbody is a scam: I would say that my paychecks don’t lie. I haven’t earned a ton from Beachbody and it’s obviously nothing that will make me a millionaire, but it certainly helps to pay my bills and put extra money toward paying off my student debt. Can you say no to a few hundred extra bucks each month? Of course not, making extra cash is always good!

What does Beachbody coaching entail? Well, you are selling awesome and famous workouts like P90X, Les Mills, and Body Beast – which get real results. You are also selling the most amazing product ever: Shakeology – the healthiest meal of the day. It’s a shake that improves your health, your skin, helps you lose weight, gives you tons of energy, improves digestion, tastes awesome, and is just overall amazing. But you aren’t only selling products: you are helping others to reach their lifelong goals including losing weight, getting fit, and making extra cash.

Do I have to be in awesome shape to be a Beachbody coach? Of course not! You just have to have the desire to be better than you were yesterday – to live a life more according to your dreams and the motivation to reach for your dreams. You don’t need an awesome success story, but you need to be in the process of making one. I certainly have not reached my goals yet (I’m far from it), but I’m consistently trying to be better and that’s what has helped me to become a great coach. You can do it – why not try as long as you have the goals? Doesn’t making extra cash on the side sound great?

I know you’re wondering about cost now. Don’t worry – it costs hardly anything. The cost to be a Beachbody coach is only $39.95… And it’s FREE if you purchase a challenge pack when you start. Why not start a free business and get P90x and a month’s supply of Shakeolgoy all at once? There is also a $15.95 charge to maintain the three websites on the Beachbody site, but the money for these is made up every month as long as you sell only 1 product. It’s really a great deal when you think about it. Especially since you make back the initial investment so quickly. I promise that it is worth the cost, but if you decide to cancel at any point just let TBB know and they’ll stop all charges without a problem.
