It is true to a certain extent. What is not true are the claims made by so-called gurus and other fraudsters who want you to believe that you can make a fortune simply by letting software do the work for you, or simply pressing a few buttons and making a few clicks of the mouse to make thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars appear instantly in your bank account.
As your instinct probably is telling you, this is a bunch of BS. To make money online, and to make money anywhere for that matter, you need to provide some value in return for the money you receive. Granted, the Internet does allow you to provide value more easily and cheaply than ever before. This is perhaps why it is possible to make instant money online as opposed to how slow it would take you in the ‘offline world’, but you still need to provide some kind of value that someone will exchange for money.
