Making Money on The Side

Shares 41

The following article is from Christian, our occasional contributor. He is at the early stage of his financial independence journey, but he is in an great position. He will graduate later this year and become a dentist and he is watching his lifestyle inflation like a hawk. He’s also generating side income to supplement his earning. Read how he does it below.

Last time I was at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, I had an amazing meal with eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, and sausage…and then I had a side of delicious pancakes. Did I need the pancakes? No. There was plenty of food to go without. Where they delicious? Oh, boy they were.

This is kind of like earning money on the side. Your main source of income is enough to get you by (hopefully). Then there is side income. It’s not needed nor expected, but oh boy, is it nice to have.

Last time I wrote about my financial situation and journey to financial independence, I mentioned that I made some side income. I would like to further explain how and where I get this side money. I generate side income via 1) a blog I started 2 years ago, and 2) Credit card points and bonuses.
