When I started my work-at-home search, I had no clue what I wanted to DO. What's funny is, I knew all the things I didn't want to do, like, work in the nursing field, talk on the phone. or any occupation with a set schedule. And from the emails that I receive on a daily basis, this is a very common theme among moms who want to work from home.


If you’re ready to make money from home this year, but you're not sure what direction you should take, there is a solution. There are a bunch of free resources, guides, and mini-courses that can help you take the guesswork out of the what should I do?


Best of all, these courses are 1oo percent online, so you don't have to worry about taking time away from you family.


Here are a bunch of FREE online courses that can help you determine which is the right path for you.

At Lynda. com you can test-drive courses in business, technology, and creative skills free for ten days. After the trial period is over, it's only $19.99 a month. What I like about Lynda is it's a branch of LinkedIn (so you know it's reputable), and they have learning paths which can teach you a whole new career, such as graphic design.


Another place to search for free online courses is Udemy. Many of their online instructors offer free courses in development, business, IT, personal growth, design, marketing, and more. I've never tried Udemy, but their website boasts more 42,000 different courses and all you need to do is search for the keyword free.


Looking for online courses that can be completed in as little as ten weeks? The Muse has a great list of 43 free career-advancing courses, and all of them are free. The majority of the list contains tech courses, but there are also some courses for public speaking, email marketing, speech writing, and more. Definitely worth checking out.


Are you more of an artsy and crafty type? Then check outCraftsy. they have a bunch of free online classes that revolve around arts and crafts. So if you're interested in selling your wares on Etsy. this would be a good resource to check out.


The last resource I have for you is from Moms Make Cents. Her list contains 35+ free online courses for bloggers and business owners.
